Pueblo Kawésqar is a non-profit organization under private law, created in accordance with the provisions of Law 20,500 on Associations and Citizen Participation in Public Management, with address at the commune of Puerto Natales. Managed and represented by a board of directors, which is chaired by Francisco Javier González.
Objective:
Contribute to the development of a more inclusive and respectful society of indigenous communities and their culture, by carrying out activities and/or programs for the rescue, safeguarding and visibility of culture and living or intangible heritage, and natural or material possessed by the old and new Kawésqar.
